I don't think it's addiction to "internet", as internet is just a means and not an end. You might be addicted to chatting, reading news, forwarding emails, etc but not internet itself. As for me it's the stream of information i'm addicted to, I love learning new things, getting new information.

45% here ... but I think I am a lot more addicted to computers & the internet in general than most people. I love computers as an end and not a mean. I like tinkering about with a new thing, tweaking it etc. I love things like unix, c, c++ for what they are, not for what they can do. Also I am surprised it gave an "average internet user" for 8 hours online 😉
