Download Problems?

Anyone else (from Delhi) having download problems with MTNL? For the last two days, torrents for me are more or less dead...even the Open Office torrent isn't working. I'm on 590NU (previously getting 64kBps speeds) using utorrent, and the funny thing is, regular downloads work perfectly; just the torrents and the p2p that's down and out. MTNL's blocking ports or sumfin?
 
I am facing ther same problem.The difference is i am facin that on BSNL. Something is wrong somewhere.
 
What a coincidence!!!I am having same problem on my Pacenet connection .. and tha too in the last 2 days only!!
 
yesterday night it happened with me also. torrent and p2p clients used to stop during downloads & uploads after sometime they would again start downloading. intermittent problem but quite noticeable. I am on DSL 590 NU -mumbai
 
The weired part is all the other downloads are getting perfect speed. only torrents and limewires are goin down.
 

hmm dunno but i havent had a problem as such with any torrents.. been on since thursday... had done 8 gigs .. though only completed one big torrent .. doing another one.. just that these link-removed torrents are slow t ostart with , since i dont have much to upload in the beginning... but it all works fine now !!rr just noticed this is specific delhi problem.. but wth its working fine in mumbai. lol

Hmm...same problem again today. I know port forwarding is for incoming connections, but tried it in an attempt to maybe jumpstart things. Still doesn't work. Bummer.
 
its wierd.. how you ppl having problems forwarding ports? i havent had any probs re-forwarding my ports in the other router i have. hmm...

Maybe u guys could try enabling protocol encryption in µtorrent and BitComet and see if that makes a difference.
 
Well, it began working just as suddenly as it had stopped. Must have been an MTNL problem.
