help me with youtube access denied prompt

i downloaded explorer 08 today from chip cd provided by softnet..during installation explorer wanted me to get active x..i think then this virus entered.....WHENEVER I TYPE YOUTUBE A PROMPT OCCURS SAYING "youtube is banned on ur comp by me..huhahua.followed by a laugh..i've used avg but no luck..any suggestions please..its very annoying

may be some virus ? use microsoft security essentials to clean

Try Avast! Home Edition if you want a free unlicensed version (better than AVG) if you can't install Microsoft Security Essentials for obvious reason :imwink:.
Also use Malywarebyte as honey_ami said and do a thorough scan of your PC.

By the way you must have freaked out seeing the message splashing on the screen saying "youtube is banned on ur comp by me" for the first time no?
Does a laughing audio clip really plays when that message appears :rofl:?
