Dc++hub In Lokhandwala (mumbai)(my7star Subscribers)

hi this is ally pls join my hub for all my7star.com users for dc++ my hub ip is 202.134.161.185 timings (7.30pm to morning 9.00am)minimum sharing 1GB.just click on quickconnect in DC++ and enter the foll ip.all are welcome
 
Bhaiyyaji, is this really gonna go on or is it gonna be one of those 1-2 day things? Eitherway, I'm in... Been looking for a 7Star DC++ Hub for a long time now... 😛
 
hey taxi man are u also a subscriber to 7star if so get more existing customers of 7stars so that we can make this a big hub and make it working i have kept this hub on from 7.30pm to 9.00am.but i need a lot of members to keep it going
 
Yeah, bro... I'd love to see this grow into a real full-fledged thing... although I'm a bit pooped that it wont work on v0.4. I've been using it for over a year and a half now, and hate to change it...Bro, whats the problem? I've been trying to connect since evening and it simply aint working. I even installed the version of DC that you needed me to and I still didn't get a response from the hub...It says, "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"... Whats the issue here?
 
hey bro i had kept the hub going but it didnt work bcause that 7star asshole has blocked the ports even my neighbour who is a subcscriber to 7star was not able to connect.i am sorry man i tried my best but u can try it for yoursely the name of the software to create the hub is PtokaX.its really easy.but until that asshole 7star opens the ports it wont work.ihad a chat abt this with another 7star subscriber on techenclave forum he too tried connecting and he told me it wont work.he is a network administrator by profession
 

7star has been recently taken over by VSNL. See if you can directly negotiate with the VSNL guys to open up ALL ports. 7star has been good with uptime and speeds but they have this bad habit of blocking porta AND more importantly protocols!!!
 
hey taxi man and max i have tested the hub with other 7star users and it seems to work so try it out today and tell me if u are connected .first set the setting upto 3slo0ts and min sharing is 1GB

That way, we can go over this properly... Want this to work, man...
 
Heh... I'd already downloaded PtOkax when you started your hub. But I just don't know how to use the bloody thing. In any case, I've already added you on MSN...

I'm already working on befriending my local 7Star guy. A couple of more times of taking him out for ice-cream, and he'll upgrade me to 512 kbps... :lol:
 
hehe....is he in Lokhandwala? I used to be a 7star subscriber. But reliance is a wee bit more professional so I opted for them 🙂
 
Yeah, he's in Lokhandwala... But don't think usko patane ko hoga...I used to be on Reliance. Bakwasest connection of all time. By the time I disconnected, I'd had to spend some 1-1.5 weeks out of each month with no connection because of downtime... I actually had to spend time at the Thane Mental Asylum after using that connection...
 
friends alsa i got a site which adresses the same problem i face i wanted to start the dc++hub in my lokhandwala area of andheri and to my suprise i see no hub i am using tata indicom and its prety good......the problem i wanted to start the new hub...using ptokax software but i dont understand how to use it also when i coonect to limewire i can download at speeds of 600kbps but only when it s=hows ethernet connection.....i can even browse the users but i am just not able to contact the users as chat opption is not available...............acn u plzz help me out to set up a hub in my area....plzzz anyone interested plz reply.......initially i too had 7 star but those rascals blocks ports as my friend is one of their near ones who manages at the 7satr......
