Bsnl wireless internet broadband not working

HiI have a bsnl broadband connection and it was working fine until i replaced win xp on my Dell 1525 which had vista home edition.I'm able to access internet through cable but not able to get internet through wireless connection. I called up bsnl and I was told that there is some laptop problem as no UTIcom network is shown. My laptop is working fine and wifi light is glowing.I tried clicking on "view available network" but nothing is coming up on there. 😡Please help.Thanks,Acchabaccha.

2. In your computer
Start All Programs
Accessories communications
Wireless Network wizard.
Follow instructions.
If done Ok

3. Start Network/ Show all connections
WLAN
Properties
status/repair etc.

The above reply was not helpful. Any other solution? I'm able to access lan connection but not wireless.Looking forward to a solution.Thanks.

1.Did you open the first link given ?
2.Did you create WLAN in your computer ?
Understood your Lan/ethernet connection is working

3.Copy/Paste for WLAN ( no edit )
Procedure.
Start RUN type CMD ok
New window opens
typeipconfig /all
