I am just testing a new forum application... Hosted here:
http://stocksandstakes.com/

the problem is that I cannot seem to enable a simple and stupid setting...

if some of you guys can go there and register and see if it is easy to make a new post on the forum... it would be great.

post your feedback here.

sorry to say that the concept is good but the layout and looks are outdated and sluggish. 🙁

Well i saw the new forum. Its cool in regards to graphical innovation.Quite catchy to the new eye.But it still suffers from little flaws.I made a reply post in shares section .1) Try to enable quick reply if u can. Most of the Guyz love the shortcuts.2) The part where there is a limit for username is quite weired.Only a name with 10 characters is allowed kinda sucks.I fell behind by just 1 alphabet and i had to register with my nick. Though this board has cool new features....but invision rocks in its own good way.

Flaws...

1. Quick Reply is available as a button in every post. so u dont need to scroll down to the end to reply 😉
2. That was something i fixed. Can expand that option. 🙂

Invision is too bloated for all sorts of forums. I dont even use 20% of the features it gives me. And it lacks the features i want from a forum software... 🙂

Vbulletin is faster than IPB.I've seen it happen. A forum I'm on was on IPB and sluggish as molten lava. They switched to vbulletin, and now its a pleasure navigating on their boards.

vbulletin is not free. IPB is no longer free. phpBB has massive security holes which emerges unexpectedly. punbb no longer is actively developed. no one likes bbpress and it is not even in beta stage.i tried it out and it is pretty outstanding out of the box.

i tried it once. found it to be mediocre. i love this one i have used.

ur signature is around 199 KB. which means that on a busy day, it takes me around 20 seconds to download that signature file. and then people complain that i remove their signatures without any good reason.
