Problems with MyWay IPTV Services

I got the Myway IPTV connection through my BSNL broadband connection. For the first 10days, it seems to be ok, now for the past ten days, full of problems that no picture or picture getting freezed, distorted, trembling like that.I have made several complaints to the customer care, they inquire over telephone 'how is the quality now?' that is all. then they dont attend to the problem or come in person to see the real problem. I think they are running short of trained manpower to look in to the problems. I am disappointed and my TV watching experience has become a dream with Myway IPTV.

When I came to know that I can watch tv programmes through a broadband connection, the idea looked fascinating to me.
Hence I gave an appointment to a person who was sent to brief me about the iptv connection, by a call centre representative.
He briefed me very nicely and I decided to go for the connection. He said I have to pay Rs. 1500/= towards refundable deposit for Set-top box which is mandatory for having the connection. I am already having a bsnl broadband connection and hence he said the same modem could be used for iptv connection also. I paid 1500/- towards the refundable deposit for the set-top box. He told me that the connection would be activated on 4th day, i.e., on wednesday. But, I told him that he must send the person only on saturday, so that I can attend to the person coming for installation.
But, since tuesday I have been getting calls from the call centre asking me to allow the person for installation, which I refused replying that they have to send the person only on saturday. But Friday itself a person called me and asked to allow me for checking the broadband connection, which I obliged by asking the ground floor occupants to open up the room. But without my permission another person also came and tried to complete the installation.
When I cam back home, I was shocked to notice that both my computer system and also the modem which have been switched on by him at the time of installation, have not been turned off. I could neither watch my tv also. He had also damaged my electric connections while wiring the iptv connection. THE ELECTRICAL PIPES WERE ALSO HANGING LOOSELY. Then I came to know that my internet connection was also not working.

When I contacted the person who came for installation over his mobile, he responded that I have to talk only to the persons who have sent him, without disclosing any number or names.

Then I contacted the person who came initially for collecting the cheque, who gave me a call centre no. I contacted and registered my complaint and I also wanted to talk to the highest officer concerned. He simply told that I have to contact his supervisor, Mr. Pankaj, who was also not available at that time. However, he assured me that next day somebody would attend to it.

Next day, being satrurday I was free and waiting for someone to attend to my problem from myway. Unfortunately, nobody turned up. I approached BSNL where I was told that they are no way connected to myway and its an altogether different entity. Only because of their joint-venture with BSNL, I had opted for the connection. However, they sent a man to attend to the broadband connection problem, who repaired it and of course, demanded 150/- for the same, giving a break-up of 50/ for himself and 100/ for the person from whom he got the instructions over phone to set right the problem.

Then when I thought of lodging a police complaint, I got a call from one, MS. Nitya, asking whether I am interested in an iptv connection. I cleverly got the service centre phone number from her and contacted them and I briefed him about the havoc played by myway installation representative, named Mr. Irudayaraj. He apologised for whatever happened and assured me that he would send another person to set right things.

That another person came and of course set right things. Since the nails and screws supplied to him were not capable of being driven firmly, he could not provide proper wiring.

So, the installation team, call centre people are hostile towards the customers, thus marring the image of BSNL. BSNl have to repent for getting tied up with myway if my way continues to function in its own way.
