Is there a way that I can send ringtones,pictures to my phone without having to use any cables or GprsThanks in advance
 
i kno u need cable or gprs to send pic n ringtonecable se to u knobut than gprs seupload ne pic on tinypic.com or ne image uploadin site than typer the full add in ur phone than it will d/l it.for ring tone use services like geocities or anglefire, etc for ur upload
 
there's bluetooth if your phone supports it.otherwise yeah, USB cable or gprs
 
I run my own website from home.

So in grps I directly put my global ip address and relevant path to file(config in webserver ) eg http://201.104.112.88/tonez/foo.mid

This way of putting direct ip I think saves some amount of data transfer (we are billed by that!) due to DNS query and works fine. Actually I dunno how GPRS connections work, but thats my guess.

In windoze too the more savvy people can do this using IIS.
AFAIK this method rocks!!
