Throttling Speeds

I get a good 14-15 kBps on downloads and 11-12 kBps on their online test. But then again I'm only a week old to using airtel, will know whether they cap after a month or so I guess

you are lucky enough. i used bsnl unlimited for 2 days and they have already started putting huge hats on me and have started pulling my pants off.

is there any way out to avoid this???

Dunno what ur talkin about man, i've been with Airtel nearly a yr now and have yet to see any throttling. Downlaods avg 25KB/s and have been ever since i started. There have been days where i suspected it was happenig but speeds returned shortly after.Maybe you are in a segment that has more than its fair share of leeches and they can't give you any more.
