I am using Nivyahbroadbad for home connectivity. The connection is through a WAN switch located in our building. The service provider mentioned that the MAC address for the connection is mapped to the user id provided by them.

I want to use Trendnet BRP432 wireless router.
I tried connecting my desktop to the router on LAN port and the RJ45 cable to the WAN port.
I setup the connection as 'always on' ... provided user ID and password provided by the ISP. But I do not get connected.

Can somebody tell me Step By Step How do I need to setup the connection ? Do I need to ask the ISP to map my Router MAC to my ID ?

Can I 'Clone' my current MAC to the Router ? How can do it ? Is the BRP 432 capable of doing it ?

I noticed there is a facility .. but that is only for FIXed IP address type of connection.
