Airtel 8 Mbps 'Unlimited'
Has anyone had any luck using any speed boosting programs with Airtel? I just downloaded cFos Speed and wil try it out, but on first impression it seems to have made it slower!

Is there any program that solves/reduces the whole see-sawing of speeds business?

Maybe it's just a Delhi thing (or a non-Bangalore thing), but speeds here 'see-saw' a lot, i.e. fluctate..... the speed will rise to 28-30 KB/s and fall to 4 KB/s, and back up again, once every 3 or 4 seconds.I haven't done the math yet, but I think in essence I end up getting 160 kbps rather than 'upto' 256 kbps (which IMHO should mean between 200 and 256 kbps or more).So far traffic shaping via cFos has not done much for me..... any slight gains that I perceive are probably just psychological.... and it definitely hasn't made my p2p any faster.
