heh. that would most likely result in security hassles. login at multiple locations is not really a good solution esp when google wont even tell you that you are already logged in at some other location.AOL AIM does that. and gives you the option to logout from that other location.
 
google wud give that option soon, hopefullyand when yahoo allows multiple logins it wud let us choose if its allowed or not, again, hopefully!Sushubh, do u have unlimited storage on yahoo? I think chat on mail is available only for those whose a/c is migrated to Unlimited storage.
 
i dont see any bar any longer so i guess i am on their unlimited storage plan.
 
hey hey finally i have got unlimited space and yahoo chat inside yahoo mail (though i still wont use that)

and with that i complete 1000 posts!!:cool2::thumb:🙄

not having chat on webmail is a good thing actually...

it logs you out of your messenger.


if u change ur status to offline in yahoo mail. next time u login to yahoo mail, it wont sign in automatically and hence wont log u out of ur messenger

i guess its showing u in celcius as ur server is in.mg1.mail.yahoo.com and mine is us.mg1.mail.yahoo.comso here its 28 deg C, much cooler but i still sweat a lot LOLand yes it has started to show "You now have unlimited storage" here too.
 

Original yahoo mail seems to be much faster for me..BTW that temp reading is most probably incorrect.. delhi had a max of 36-37 tday so g'gaon cannot be at 43 C
 
original yahoo mail is faster for loading inbox (by 3-4 seconds, earlier it was 15-20 seconds faster) but opening email is much faster with yahoo mail beta.
 
wtf.....the yahoo mail beta dint load at all for me.......in Opera and Firefox in Linux(Fedora7) ...dunno whats wrong. I just get a blank page!!
 
it works in firefox just fine for me on win and ubuntu... opera of course would have issues.... just hope opera guys would work with yahoo guys to fix the issues. gmail used to have a lot of issues with opera. it still does.
 
i dont think its related to fc7 but try downloading ff 2.0.0.4 and check.(no need to delete ff of fc7)ok i got myself switched to in.mg1.mail.yahoo.com and now its showing temp in celcius.how i did it?--------------i went to "My account" and changed preferred content to "Yahoo! India" instead of "Yahoo! US"
 
i guess you need to set that up in your preferences. or perhaps its connected to your location.i had to change to UK/Ireland region to get into the beta faster 😀 then i moved back to india i guess.
 
I updated to FF 2.0.0.4 , still it is not working!! Really strange now!! I just get a blank white page...nothing!
 
if nothign works..create temporary user and run ff as that user. if that works then move ~/.mozilla directory of original user to say ~/.mozilla.bkp and try.. u will loose ur bookmarks, prefs etc. so u might have to move them from bkp directory
