I checked yahoo mail beta (again) just yesterday it has gone fast and opens almost immediately. and looks easier to use too. wud try to use it for a day. i still like the current non beta one though.P.S. i heard yahoo mail beta comes with messenger features. but i dont see them anywhere. any1 has idea?

loads fast indeed. maybe they have started using indian servers for the interface for us. coz my US friends never had issues with speeds on this new interface. but i did get this message in firefox...

and chat works for me on my yahoo mail...

1) i didnt get that script error.2) my server URL is us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com urs is in.mg1.mail.yahoo.com. so ur account is hosted in India and mine in usa.3) i dont get that 'available' link next to id on top (sushubh in ur case)4) I also dont get 'N online' link next to contacts 🙁May be my server is not upgraded? wud wait few days else wud send them bug report.

not having chat on webmail is a good thing actually...it logs you out of your messenger.this is where gmail is better. u can stay connected to both your regular im client and the gtalk built in in gmail...

yes i dont need it but sometimes helps. anyway thye have flash based yahoo messenger too at Yahoo! Messenger for the Web

gtalk is based on jabber/XMPP protocol which allows login from multiple places. google just used open source server code and launched their chat/im services.

yahoo might modify their code in future to allow multiple logins.
