Am sure it's a temporary problem with the site. Try refreshing/logging in at a later time. Few days it wudn't let me delete any msgs 😛

sometimes unable to delete the message in live mail.after marking and deleting it is still there and the tick mark box is dehiglighted and ticked.

I dont remember the original hotmail as i am using live since long time.
I also had a similar problem. What I did was to go to individual contact , click edit and then delete it. Just try to edit single single contacts and delete it. It worked for me some 3 months back.
