Welcome to Broadbandforum.in
Please post the modem/router you have been given..

Please check this link and select your modem.
Detailed screen shots with added instructions available.

The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL

Post this data:
Start RUN type cmd
A new window will open
type ipconfig /all

Para two:
How you connect to Internet ?

Dialer mode ( where you enter your UserID and PW in computer )
or

"Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode
Where, your userID and PW are incorporated in the modem.

hai essbebe . thank you for reply .. . you asking about how i am connect to internet .,its pppoe mode ALWAYS ON . .it does not asking about my user id and password

@kartik _sgl
its pppoe mode ALWAYS ON . .it does not asking about my user id and password
Thanks for the information,
that in "Always On" mode you need not
enter userId and password again.

Para two;
It is frustrating to members ,
if reply is brief, and does not
give enough feedback. and
confirm or clarify all points.
Hope you have solved your problem.
Even this I don"t know from your response . !

Control Panel > Network connections > Local area connection > Properties >TCP/IP > PropertiesEnter IP address as 192.168.1.2Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0Default gateway : 192.168.1.1

thanks .. . still it is not working ... .one i noticed that , in my modem ,link (green light) is always off. but i have seen that it was always on before the problem occurs ..is any other problem (hardware or connection ) ? ..please reply quickly if u knew . .

Is there any way to increase the download speed by connecting double lan connection to PC.Like,[Lan1 connection speed 250Kbps] + [Lan2 connection speed 250Kbps] + [WLAN connection speed 250Kbps] = 750 Kbps:iplay:

Check the SNR value, If i remember correctly SNR should not be lesser than 12.It can be found in the modem (192.168.1.1) menuDeviceInfo>>Statistics>>ADSL.If the SNR is lesser than 12 (?) contact BSNL office.
