hi members having probs accessing my router page it takes ages to open any idea whats wrong,having this problem for the past 2-3 days

oh .. just hardware reset your router . and everything should be fine . 🙂i was happening with me tooo b4 ..

It happens sometimes with me too .. the router pages just sont open .. but after sometime it works fine .. so .. it may be normal

which browser are u using ??? Ihad a similar problem, but it happened only when i used firefox, it opened at normal speed in case of IE

It doesnot depend on browser, it just hang sometimes.

Hi All,
I have a MTNL Triband connection in mumbai , MTNL installed UT-300R2U Starcom ADSL Router.
I changed the "Service Password" from http://register.mtnl.net.in/ and rebooted my router to test the change. Then I logged-in to the router interface and as per the manual for this router managed to change the password and rebooted the router as well. The problem since then is that even the router interface http://192.168.1.1 is not accessible now.
I cannot understand whats wrong with changing the password.
Can anybody help me here, is this a known problem with routers from this company "starcom"

but i have a feeling...... its a software problem...... try a diff browser... check with the firewall off....If all else fails..... 🙁 . try resetting the router manually......

it might be xp ka prob.chk ur default gatewayit might be 167.xxx.x.xif it is than reinstall ur win

hehe there is no need to re install winblows for such a trivial thingy ... :blink: :wacko: :huh: 😱
just manually change ur ip to 192.168.1.2
subnet = 255.255.255.0
gateway = 192.168.1.1

now u can access the router config page
