MyWay IPTV: Can I use Television for voice chat, video chat

Hi All,I came to know Myway is going to provide internet access in television.If they enable it,can we do voice chat,vedio chat in Television itself instead of computer?.Please clarify my doubt.Thanks ,Ravi.

Well, where did you get such an information?
As of now, it is not internet on television but television channels over the internet that you could watch on your TV. IPTV = Internet Protocol Television

So I got doubt,whether Surendra Lunia, director, IPTV, is mentioning only text chat or both voice,vedio chats also.If it is possible text chat in television using iptv,is it also possible voice,vedio chat in television using iptv?.

well their website says it will be possible to surf web on TV (Imagine surfing web and online video streaming sites at >3Mbps !!! )

good quality video conferencing consumes lot of data..i dont think they will allow it at speeds in excess of 2mbps ..even at 2 mbps the rate will be pretty high

I called myway iptv tool free number 18602669929.Customer care person informed me that they dont have any confirmed details about voice,vedio chats in TV instead of computer using myway iptv connection .At present,this feature is not enabled.I request persons who are having myway IPTV connection to inform in this thread,once myway will enable this feature.

BSNL IPTV will offer Internet Services thru TV. But not immediately. It will take some more time. Probably after the trial period.

But the rates and tariffs are unknown. But we expect that there will be a trial offer to test it for sure.
