Well MTNL promised a month back that they wud offer at RS 500 at what others offer at Rs 3000......considering this it shud have offered atleast 1 GB data transfer for Rs 500.....well a company that cant keep its promise made a month back....wat more u can expect???

What about BSNL's tarrifs....anybody knows???

should i laugh or cry! people on WP forums and Opera Chat rooms are using 10mbps for like 40 dollars a month. unlimited data transfer is well eeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh.. 😀

well just cheked out hte ad in newspaper and was so damn ecited that i stopped all my downloads and switched to MTNL's site.but only to be dissapointed, evn sify has better plans to offer than the MTNL.if this is the way broadband is heading then im scared. 😱 now i seriously doubt that im evr gonna experience the broadband speed in INDIA without any limits. 🙁 its just like telling the bird to fly high while u hav chained it to the ground.

actually the packages are quite cheaper than sify. 🙂 sify afaik charges 2500 for 1 gig at 256kbps. and mtnl has DSL. the technology is better. 🙂as for broadband.... 😕 airtel is pretty decent. 🙂

i menat they hav no unlimited packages and that is s h i t , and why do we pay so much for so less data transfer.Only uncle and aunty across the road r gonna but that package.i am fine with 15gb limit if htey offer that arnd 600bux. then i wuld be the 1st one to get my hands on it.

I was expecting somewhere b/w 1-2 GB at 256 kbps in Rs 500-600 price band.....this was wat they hinted a month ago....and now wat.....They want to usher the broadband revolution in india....similar to mobile revolution....Wud mobile rev have occured had if u wud have got 5 minutes as talktime with Rs 300 recharge coupon ?Believe me , MTNL's DSL is gonna flop bocz price cud have been the only attractive factor...and they have lost on it....and MTNL is already known for its poor servicve

mtnl has DSL. the technology is better[/b]

I want to know if the telephone line is noisy or if parallel lines are connected....do that affect ADSL's speed???

Also MTNL says its using ADSL 2 technology....wat's that???

no idea but airtel telephone connection rocks. dsl through poles and hanging wires? god help the MTNL linesmen.
