My SNR ratio for the Home 500 plan are as follows: Downstream Upstream SNR Margin (dB): 22.4 24.5 Notice that the upstream is always higher than the downstream! I would like to know if this is of concern and needs any correction?Too add up, i face disconnections of broadband/iptv/telephone occasionally..

no.. your snr is fine.. have you connected your telephone after the splitter?

Call up bsnl & have the cabling changed dude - worked for me :thumb:

well.., since i got iptv installed recently .. the cable pair were all changed for line clarity and signal strength just a few weeks back....just now called them up and they said some board needs to be changed at the exchange itself...lets wait and see....

hi what is the perfect SNR upstream and downstream ?i am getting frequent disconnections ,using bsnl 🙁my upstream is 15 and downstream 30 .And how to calculate the ratio ?
