need complete automation :)

hey peopleneed a few tips/solutions 🙂i have chked the forums ... bidged mode connection/dialers.. but i`m kinda confused!! sheeshanyways need too know... a few 1) i wanna automatically start and shutdown my computer.. possible right? how do i go abt doing? if you require a script, pls let me know cause i wouldnt know how to make one/run it!2)i have just started using azureus 2.4.0.2 .. was using bit tornado b4 this..do let me know if i have to change certain settings to get max download speed .. i think i have done the needful though ... 🙂(only shifted to azureus cause i wannna automate the download procedure)3) also since i wanna automate , i wanna be able to start azureus automatically... so my downloads would start automatically too 4) i have forwarded my ports... so i need to be in the bridged mode??5) also i keep getting disconnected everyday at around 6:40 am 🙁 sucks!! what could be the cause?? how can i solve it? worst is most of the time it doesnt even resume!!!! doesnt matter if i`m on torrents or ftp/http!let me know if i need anything else tooo 🙂thank you people

If u r usin Azureus then First hav 'Any Port Forwarded in ur router'It seems u done this.Put that port number in Azureus (Hav u done this ??)Configure ur Lan card to use relevant IP address fed to ur router (eg 192.168.1.3) and Gateway 192.168.1.1 DNS's 203.94.227.70 and 203.94.243.70So If u dont hav NAT problem after doin this, this will greatly increase Azureus's Efficiency of connecting other peers and increase download speed.For a particular torrent keep Upload speed frm 14-15. This way u will get max download speed around 24-25Enjoi

automatic shutdown is ok, but automatic switch on ..??????Is that possible ???? i don't think so.

i find telnet method best in pppoe
so by that u can reboot ur router n by third party soft or ur own script u can shutdown
but to start the pc i donot think it is possible

theres wake on lan ( WOL ) but obviously it requires other pc running .. and most new pc's support this feature .. google for more info i never tried it ..

My Dell laptop can be scheduled to start up at a particular time through the built-in scheduler in the bios. So i think ur MB bios should have a provision for it coz even i can't think of any other way.

ya you keep the pc( i mean the powersupply on) and then automate the process 🙂.. i think!!i remember someone talking abt scripts... to do the whole process automatically. 🙂i tried searching for that post but cant seem to find it 🙁

ok so i can get my comp t ostart up eh . nice manbut the prob would be that of connecting triband right..if i use it beyond 8am the megabytes used up is a lot. .which is sad! 🙁so wanna know a way to start my triband.. that is dial it and disconnect it ..i kiinda dont wanna use bridge mode.. (Twice i tried and twice i screwed up the modem ) ..!!! let me know.

well, the easiest way is to do it in bridge mode...tell me if u're interested in it 🙂
