Playin Games Through virtual lans like lancraft ..

FIRSTLY , i cant ping any1 nor can any one ping me !!!! tahts so irritating cause i need to connect to their comps to play games online usin virtual lan softwarez such as lancraft and hamachi etc.. i gave ppl both my sify ip 10.11.9.57 and the other one 202.177.160.199 which displays in www.whatismyip.com ..

Can any1 help me . n im sure many ppl face the same prob . n dont worry i do turn off my firewall before i try to connect to their ip's ..

Dude the 10.x.x.x is your internal ip and is not displayed to the outside world. Your external ip is 202.x.x.x which is displayed in whatismyip. Sify routes multiple connections through one ip to reduce costs. If you're using hamachi, then hamachi provides you with your own unique ip, why arnt you using that?

Duh! i do use my hamachi ip re . even that fails .. i connect to de hamachi server created by my friend but cant see them when i go to lan of quake3 ,ra2 yuris revenge .. etc .. i do turn off my firewall , but still i doesnt work . nor can any1 ping my hamachi ip .. i think sify has a default firewall . is it possible that some how they can disconnect it for my ip ? n cc never responds man..argghhh!! i need some way to connect to my friends comps n play ! do u play online by connectin through ip's ? No I haven't yet tried connecting through hamachi to play games, you can give me your hamachi ip right now, and let's c if we can connect.My hamachi ip is 5.25.103.99I have done file sharing thorough it and it's as simple as connecting through lan.Ok, just do the following.Add this network.name Erinel84pass 123C if you get your pings, should work. If it does then the problem is with your frnd.

C if you get your pings, should work. If it does then the problem is with your frnd.

dude i can ping . but seeing the other person in lan of the game is what is important , n theres the problem . i joined ur hamachi server , come online there n lets seee if i can see u in lan n play a gmae wit u . my hotmail id is cold_bullet@hotmaill.com add me so its easier to communicate .
