Hi Guys,If you're using AIRTEL DTH and can see that pizza delivery feature; please update here what is actually new with it that they are advertising so loudly? If we go out and look around; we can see Pizza Hut, US Pizza, Mc Donald and many others have already published their phone numbers everywhere on which we can call and order pizza. Now, if we can do that in a minute of time then what is different (new) they advertise with AIRTEL DTH "Order and Pizza Delivery"?What's new in it?(except, we press a blue button for pizza and that lady comes out of the TV and serve us - that's the only new if that is the case that happens with AIRTEL DTH). :hysterical🙁else, nothing's new - we can do the same by calling any pizza maker - even the local ones offer free delivery)

This one is very different on Airtel DTH. There is a interactive application. In this , you can choose from the menu of Pizza Hut. I do not think it is the full menu, but there are many options. There seems to be some special pricing also. When you choose the order you want, there is a short code that gets generated. You have to SMS this code from your RMN and the Pizza gets delivered.I did not order the Pizza, but did everything till the SMS part. Good idea. Much easy compared to that call that you need to make.

huh, if u eventually have to pick phone to SMS the code, whats the use?

One way communication, I was wondering how they managed to do it.Now got it, its via SMS scheme, not like when U press some button on ur remote pizza gets booked and withing 15 mins doorbell rings;"Pizza Mam, have a nice day"

Ya its a clear waste - nothing new and even more "steps" to do.Just think of this- In weekend, you go out with friends. There is a pizza outlet and you picked their menu card which mention their home delivery number alongwith the whole updated menu (as you pick from the outlet they always have updated menu) and you come back home. After week, you feel to order a pizza. What do you have to do?Step 1 - Take out that pizza menu that you picked last weekend, read it out and select the one you want (and many for others if they want too)Step 2 - Pick the phone (usually it takes 2-3 mins to order and if you do from mobile - it takes 1Rs. per minute so 3 Rs.) and you order your pizza on phone. That's all.EASY.In DTH, we have to go to menu, browse through pizzas by keep pressing various buttons, we have to look close to see what has been written in small fonts on-screen, we have to type codes in mobile to send sms, and whole lot of other processes which i still dont know. But anyway, in india - if 1 things get hit, it is a big hit forever. So lets see whether people welcome this move or not.Advertisements are impressive though.

actually, ordering pizza and pvr tickets is available on airtel iptv since launch. pizza delivery does not work at my place. i never ordered tickets because the system does not allow me to pick the seats which i can do online.

Anyone mind telling me where i can find this pizza delivery in iTV services..😕 😕
