Printing doesn't mean that it has to *NECESSARILY* go to a printer. 😛Just print the topic, then save the resulting html page on your hd in a folder.Atleast, it saves you online time. Ever come across a thread of 30 pages that was interesting? (whether it be a funny thread with jokes/comments, or a tech topic with lot of code and suggestions) I hate having to open individually each page. Just print the topic and read it offline at your convenience. It also is nice to print a topic and save it for archival purposes (later use). One more advantage is that the printed topic doesn't have all the ego crap of forums - no post count, reply, member profile, crap seen on left pane of posts.:w00t😛S: I know of the "lite" feature in IPB 2.x which shows threads almost like the printed page, but somehow printed page "feels" comfortable, and also all versions of IPB since 1.2 have had this feature to print.Seriously, there's so many features of Invision forums that I have got used to, that I feel out of place on other competing sw! (vBulletin 2.x or 3.x is also fine, according to me)

🙁 it is no longer free. 🙁

What is no longer free? 😛As far as some people are concerned, everything is free. 😉Oh, and IPB 1.3 is still usable TOTALLY free. But it can't be downloaded from official site, it can be got thru other means. Also, IPB 2.0 (which we have here currently) is still usable as an evaluation freely without license. No limitation of 5000 posts either.

😱*down on knees* Don't do that!We all love that idiot. 😉Haha, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde play going on here or what!

what happens when you reach 5000 posts? you get fined or something 😛. Well after extreme consideration, IPB is right now better than phpBB. But there's a new release coming from phpBB, so let's see how that is.
