Till now i have been working in a Windows environment...& the modem used was Beetel Web Distributor 1...that is a USB connected device.
This one rocks with P2P apps....now i'll be shifting to Linux environment (Fedora 64 to be more precise) .... so guys please sugest me a Airtel Modem/router that is P2P friendly..i.e, which has open ports....i saw couple of howtos here long time back.....but they required to set the settings everytime the router was turned on.,...

i think many people will be using the P2Ps' here ....please help me out...i

The Yozan Web Distributor 2 ethernet modem (is this the 220BX?), the one I have, works great in suse. If u set it up in the rfc 1483 bridged mode, azureus works with no need of port forwarding. But this modem does require you to change settings everytime you switch it on. But you can automate the process using a batch file. But I myself never turn off my modem unless it turns itself off in a power outage.

xxbomb go for the beetel 220BX (ethernet+usb options). It is different and better than the yozan web distributor 2 becoz port forwarding is very easy in this modem. Once u have forwarded the ports for P2P you don't have change anything again.

siriusB : NO!! web distributor 2 is not the 220bX,,,infact 220bx is the most pathetic modem of airtel..220bx is my choice now...working like charm...
