crap 256 pure unlimited

the 256 night and weekend plan gives u upload at 256 kbps...

i donno how but i got this package 2-3 days ago and till now i m getting normal 30kbps upload and also downloading is same with torrents. but it was intermittent. i mean very variable . but thats ok. 🙂

hell......i too use 256KBPS pure unltd connection in hyderabad.i got 30KB dld speed for abt 10 days.....and my speed reduced to 12KB, max 15KB....donno whts the reason.......when i call sify ppl they say they wil rectify it and they F**K off still i am facing the same probs........one more thing. does any one here know any tweaks or tricks to increase the upload speeds?my upload speed is capped to 7KB...🙁

stop using torrent an start using some other P2P like ares, kazaa where uploading doesn't matter. thats what i do when torrents are not working fine. and u'll be able to download at normal 30-32 kbps speed. but the problem is that u'll have to find the files. and sometimes you can't the files u need. thats y torrents are efficient in that case where u don't have to find the files.

Ok I saw some ppl write here abt the problems they r facing with torrent, first of all I just wanna say tht the torrent can be the best way to dl files off the internet if u use it right.You don't try to cheat torrents and think tht u can dl and then just leave and getting banned is no big deal.There r two things u can do, First is download whatever u want and then let it seed for at least 1:1 ratio, if ur ratio stays fine u will get good speeds or the second thing and what u should do is open your ports, tht will give u speeds with torrent u just can't imagine.the upload speed will increase too and u can have a minimum of 1:1 ratio.BTW Kazaa sucks big time, even mirc is better thn tht.
