Hi Guys,

please post your suggestions here.

As for bugs, i would prefer if you used the bug tracker.

EasySify evidently needs a lot of improvement. 🙁

Thanks

You can download EasySify from http://easysify.sourceforge.net.

Thanks to sushubh to point out that the link was missing.

It never connects automatically the first time I open it. If it could auto connect and minimize itself I could put it in startup and forget about it 🤔

Auto Connect works if Keep Alive is on.
Auto minimize is already included in v1.1

I think the Socket problems you are facing are because of the blocking scheme i implemented. Though i have not run into this error ever, i believe that the new coding paradigm used in v1.1 should solve it.

When I exit EasySify ... it logs me out ... is there a way such that it would exit without communicating with the SAM server at all (without killing it with CTRL+ALT+DEL)

I don't find any need to kill easysify as it logs me in automatically if i get logged out 🙂

Todai logged in with easy sify but forgot to logout.....since easy sify doesnt log me out at all....i lost my 4 precious hours for 0 bytes of data transfer.....It is good for people with unlimited or data transfer pack but with hourly packs like with me....If i forget to logout.....i wud expire my pack within a day....so i strongly suggest an option which cud enable us to log out automatically after a preset time after no data transfer

Yep, thats one useful feature of it 🙂But still, to save memory one might want to close it, so there should be an option to do so.

I just got:run-time error 10049:address is not available from the local machine

Hello Bhaskar,Good work!!!I have started using ur client...It seems to hearbeat more frequently than the time configured..let u know the details later...Keep up the good work..🙂ThanksKrish

Thanks sushubh for the link. 😀

I have noted Ujjwals request for exiting w/o logging out. (Though i don't know why you would want to do that? 😀 )

Google_Singh Ji, i haven't forgot your feature request. I am working on and i am sorry that you lost 4 hours. 🙁

Fred, i am sorry but i still cannot find whats wrong with the socket code. I haven't been able to reproduce the errors. Therefore i am writing a completely new socket code for v1.1

kkm1978, i too have noticed that, and i will fix that. 😀

Fred, do you perchance have more that one network card installed?
what about you google_singh?

I don't think I have more than one network card, but I wouldn't know
