Looks like your signature is back Firoz, if it was the "Your IP is..." signature that Fred was talking about. And it doesn't show the SAM IP, it shows the public IP of the forum visitor to him 🙄

heh vipersig. nothing to be afraid of that image. 🙂

though i had like to keep signatures on this forum sane ones. no big images or advertis€m€nts or spam or animations.

I think I have posted this in three different places now...For my own LAN I get that speed for others about 16kBps

Yeah better way is to share via ftp or tftp . Ftp seems good as it is resumable and multiple connections from download accelerators gives abt 3 MB/s . Or just simple HTTP FILE SHARE program (hfs) .

hi, is there any Hub in mumbai my ip address is 10.12.129.49sam server : 210.210.4.77can i download frm my friends pc without connecting to internet??

Perhaps there should be a FAQ for newcomers. Nishnet look at my signature.

hmm, someone in mumbai try runnin an ftp server , letusee what speeds we get off you , yeah i know we might pretty well be on two differnt lans , however chances are we might be in the same ip ranges, i know speeds should be according what the packge im on in sify, but 5 years of networking has led me to belive there are strange things goin on in networks & 99% of the people in the world are dumb.
