So u do expect Govt organisations to be really that tech savvy? Or that much intelligent when it comes to using Internet as a medium?

There may be other reasons too as I hardly remember any government website with You Tube Videos.

well using youtube does not require rocket science. in fact, the video player they are using would probably require more work and technical expertise to embed on a web page. youtube is probably the easiest way to host a video for free and embed it on a web page.

To me, it just appears rigidness to change. We still can hope them to change, if at all, some young blood goes in there, who is just conscious about the options available. Like i had seen 1 CIT back in 2008. He was using an N72. U generally dont see these kind of phones even with officers positioned higher than him!But i dont know what the trend is, as of now.

Hahaha! Good question! I shud have checked his cell when he was away. 😀 Once or twice he left his place without his cellphone. I missed out. I was more concerned about the time that was passing. My work timing was upto 6:30, and this discussion was tipped to go way beyond that. And if it went beyond, then plan out as to which train wud i get, and how much more time will it take & all! 😛

Just got first SPAM sms abt some bunglow project in KalyanQuickly sent Complaint SMS to 1909 on vodafone. And it kind of bounced back! Stating "unable to process due to technical reasons"Great!

The sms service is very unreliable. Even when i had to register for it, it took quite some time to get the right option selected. But try out the internet options now!

But try out the internet options now!

You mean where? on Facebook or twitter?

And if you listen to the audio from that video you'd find that they used a Text-to-Speech program.

@amish: That is the problem with Vodafone. It works with every other provider, except Vodafone. The only way to make it work is to email them on Vodafonecare.Mum@vodafone.com and then they will send you a form. Fill that form and they will give you a docket number.

Why shud I fill the form? Its not the recommended method by TRAI. They have to follow TRAI.OT: Aav aav!

I am telling u again, mail to TRAI directly. And Mascot has even shared the contact details of concerned persons in another thread.
