Garbage data problem

I have a 256kbps exatt connection in Vile Parle east near shaan theater and as u all know i get a speed of 20kBps. Yesterday something went wrong with my cat5e cable. When the cable guy checked it with some tester it showed that wire 2 and 4 of the cable dont work. So he changed the order of the wires in the cable and put a new rj45 jack on it. The earlier order of the wires in the jack was the one in the first pic below. The second pic shows the new config

My prob is that i am downloading a bit too much of garbage data with torrents on bitcomet 0.61. Before the wire config was changed I rarely used to download garbage data. And after yesterday I downloaded 600mb+ garbage to download only 12 mb of actual data. The total download for my 1.38gb file is now accounting to 2.33 gb.
Also my connection speed shows 10Mbps as compared to 100Mbps. Though that doesnot matter I would really like to know if the wire config change has caused this and is there a so;ution to this.

wouldn't really matter. The garbage data in that torrent might be due to MPAA or RIAA guys feeding bad data to those torrents. Try downloading from a normal website and see what happens. With TCP/IP you just dont get "garbage data" magically. It's the toughest protocol pair. Heck it beams correct data from Mars and beyond so why would you get "garbage data". My best advice is that you stop downloading that torrent. MPAA / RIAA or you local cops might be soon coming down to visit you 😉

thats because MPAA is going against dumbass public torrent sites , NZB's and few emule servers right now, so obviously they must be the ones uploading garbage data .

Chill guys. And thanks for the reply MAX. But the most surprising part is that this happened only during the last 12MB of the download. The rest of the 1.38GB didnt dl a single byte of garbage. The file worked well after dling. But due to a crash I had to format and I am dling the file again. The prob is that it is showing 1MB garbage at a total dl of 6MB. I am using bitcomet 0.62. Listening port 50000. I am on a 256kbps exatt capped at 20kBytes/s.

Use Azureus for less garbage data. Though it is heavy on the system, it will give you the best of your available bandwidth. I have tried many clents before settling in for Azureus.

As i said, the garbage is due to nodes feeding bad data to everyone...
