Today admin changed to a new theme of a page shows our posts. It doesnt show REPUTATION COUNT, but it only shows the green mark of reputations. That was the a quicker way to know reputation points. Can we have it back?

see this

@admin Thanks a lot. for new layout.
please reconsider annexures. limit say 5 MB
Warn user if quota limit approaches to "clean up "
Will help Newbies to post screen shots quicker.
Reduce messages count to 100

most newbies can't make proper screenshots which are size optimized as well! so in the end i would end up with people posting crappy screenshots of large size in threads which would probably be 2-3 posts long. tinypic works fine. it might be a complicated thing for someone who has never used third party image hosting services but its better they do learn it while they can!

@adminOkay ! But forum website also will get more "HITS"Say time limit of 15 days. For instance i like to refer in my posts, WIKI pages more often, than external sites.( of course again redirected from WIKI is another matter )Many links posted here for Image shack no longer exist. Deleted in their web site.

well yeah i realize that fact. but i still like the fact that the forum's backup after so many years is smaller than 250MB. if i had images on it would have been much much larger.i am not a big fan of imageshack but i have never faced problems with tinypic. images hosted there have always worked for me.

Now, i can see rep points. Thanks. Yep, my images i hosted with imageshack are all still there. they dont delete them.I have a question - what does that 2 GREEN MARK mean? (Admin has almost 5+) - what are they for?

Images are stored on ImageShack indefinitely unless the image or the user who uploaded it abuses the Terms of Service. The image will be rendered inaccessible if the image uses over 300 megabytes of bandwidth in a one-hour period. If the image in question is not accessed a single time in one year, they will remove it.

correction:

green box: "Pep talk" message.
For you "....... will become famous soon enough!"
for me "....... is just really nice "etc
for @admin " is a glorious beacon of light " etc.
No idea whether message changes at random.

ah well. i cannot really control that part 🙁 i really cannot think i can manage the forum with all the attachments that are going to be uploaded. funny jokes, funny images, and useless stuff like that.

yes, no need of attachments. it will become total mess. we have external site for everythingplus local images/files/video mean more load and bandwidth reqed. so why waste bandwidth?

well yeah. hotlinking is another issue i would have to tackle then. overall it becomes a pain in the ass if you allow people to upload images and other content for sharing.
