WTF ! No Broadband services in Andheri West ?

Guys, i'm sick of searching for broadband services here in Andheri West, near JP road,Sahakar nagar. I have only one choice, that is, MTNL, but i can't take it, coz they told me that it will take around a month or 2. So, i've have literary called everyone... Reliance broadnet,Tata indicom,hathway... & exattnet's no. is always busy, while no one from Sify answers the phone.Wot shud i do, i'm really frustrated now !!If anyone living near my location,is using any broadband available there, then it wud be a gr8 help. I'm searching for any 256kbps plan upwards, nighut unlimited or full unlimited.....Guys, really need help...coz my dial-up sucks real bad !! :angry:
 
well ur local cablevaala shud have some broadband.wat do u have? 7star or in2cable? hehe u cud get7star 128kbps for rs.1000 if im not wrong or in2cable is rs.600 somthing for 64kbps 😛 better than dialup tho.
 
As of now, in Andheri West, confirmed services are Exatt, Pacenet(both these have their HQ in Andheri), Sify, Hathway, In2Cable, Iqara, and other lesser known ops...Airtel has just started services as well.

Buy your own ADSL modem, in that case MTNL will install connection in one week.
 
1.) I called my cablewala... he said they don't provide broadband services.it's Satelite cable2.)Hathway,Iqara,Pacenet.... They don't provide connections in my area, i.e. JP road,sahakar nagar. I've talkd to them.3.)Exatt's no. is always busy, & i dont have anyother no. , just this one 56450200. while Sify never picks up.4.)Can u tell me more bout airtel broadband services?? that's my last hope...lol
 
wow u got bad luck hang in there..earlier my only option was in2cable..(pathetic they r) but now i can get in2cable,sify,tata indicom prepaid,mtnl.. got mtnl n sify(as backup)..
 

umang why dont you call Reliance powersurfer.net? Their services are quite OK.
 
i just checked powersurfer's tariffs... n they r pretty expensive,espesially 256 unlimited for 2200 bucks.So, now i've decided to take a new reliance landline no. They provide internet service with that, and claims upto 144kbps speed. Plus one of there plan is also pretty cheap, 400 bucks for night unlimited plan.Its R connect i guess. But, i'm just concerned about the speed, i hope its better then dial-up.Guys, if u got any sugesstions then do reply...

dont buy that reliance nonsense
i had thought of the same
when i called at their callcentre, the fellow talking to me told that u will get 1/3rd speed only
surprising? their employee is only telling us not to buy their connection

actually i kinda did, i'm using Rconnect. & its giving me around 15kbps download speed on limewire.... so im kinda happy.

Plus on DU meter it generally shows more than 100kbps speed.

This thing is way better than dial-up.... so its ok.. But i hope to get a broadband soon.

u mean its not worth it?? Coz there aren't any broadband services available in my area.. other than mtnl.

n i didn't pay him 2200 rs, my scheme is of Rs.400/- pm for night unlimited package. This was the best scheme i could find.

i should get another service provider?
