I did not have problems getting the dang connect. I suffered with the Indicom guys. MTNL was fast. But I did suffer when some ports got blocked / whatever. Nevermind.to be true, I find MTNL cheaper and a better option than the rest around. BTW Sify guys cabled all the way to my comp. Then their engineer vanished for a long time too. Whoa! Grow up India. Broadband is a passe elsewhere.Lekin kya karein? MTNL abhi toh "Andon mein kaana raja hai".

Update:

changing plans thru 1500 works!

my plans got changed from today......hurrah

Online application was available from December 2005. I had applied online for Triband Combo Plan and completely forgot about it.Then in Feb 2005, these guys came over to fix the router. Now that's service. Don't know whether it was shortage of modems or just plain MTNL living up to their Service. You decide.

no it was shortage of routercause eveni apllied for connn on 21st dec n got it on jan cause i bought my own router n in feb mtnl gave me a free router hehehe

In Mumbai there is nothing called as service, its only Mtnl and its cheap priced products which attract consumers.

Customer Service can never be related to Mtnl in mumbai !

I strongly object. MTNL in Mumbai compared to other service provider like TATA, Reliance, Sify etc are far far efficient. I vouch for that. 😀

i strictly don't think so !!!! And i fully agree with imranais, mtnl is good cheap and service-less 😉 🙂 🙂

@ 1500 now you can change your triband plans, order for new......crap they could have done it earlier.

well....atleast it can be done now, all those queues at exchange, that was such a dimaag ka dahi thing.

I knew it was there from Feb 1.....just didn't knew they really did it.
