Request for MTNL to stop 6 hr auto reconnections.

6hr disconnection is not required.. god knows why they implemented this policy at first place.abt disconnection at 10PM and 8AM.. currently its required because probably the software they are using does not have capability to change the speed on the fly without disconnection.
 
same here for NewDelhi user 6 Hours disconnect/Reconnect on 512Kbps unlimited Plan with Static IP. But why for Static IP users 🙁😡
 
D/C are surely a torture. Who would be the authority to whom we should write, who would be 'understanding' enough?

the d/c creates a problem if you are downloading file directly....
torrent & accelarators may not have any issues...

Disconnections are complete nuisance in following cases:

1. Downloading from file hosts with non premium account
2. Skype/Voip applications disconnect important calls
3. They tend to crash/stall JDownloader on Mac
4. Remote connections to PC or MAC disconnect
5. Auto reconnections put huge strain on MTNL servers
6. Basically everything is affected that requires always on connection like youtube, online shopping, share trading.

The list is endless.
 

Maybe we should email deadsl@bol.net.in about this , once my modems downstream was reduced from 1 mbps to 512 kpbs , i emailed them and it was fixed within 10 minutes
