Guys just found out that BSNL does issue Static IP for higher business plans.Actually One business firm in kolkata has all ready implemented it. It is done one request and the service charges are nominal and one time. But I still don't know whats the use of static routing or IP.Another fact (I don't know this can be common every where) BSNL uses the 59 pool and the common IP is of that pool59.93.xxx.xxx ...............something like this and this make very easy to recognise them(the miseralbe users of BSNL :lol🙂

dynamic ip is cool with me coz i would hate to be stuck with an IP which has been blacklisted online.

It's always like that. There's a fixed range of IPs which every ISP is alloted. For example, if you use BSNL dial-up(Sancharnet or Netone), your IP would be between 61.0.x.x. to 61.1.x.x. Yea ofcourse with IP, you can know the ISP and location of the person.

dynamic is as COOL as EVER ...u can get outa banned torrent sites n useem again...wat NOT

if u want to feel the ease of static IP..try installin http://www.dns2go.com/signup/
the program will report ur IP changes but ur registered domain [free - get new every 30 days ] you.dns2go.com is always same..

try this : register with suffix DOMAIN_NAME_mmyy so u can get new id every month ....u can explain the situation to ur customers/friends/whomsoever n all will be fine n great

warning : it seemed to use a little loto bandwidth [only bytes] but frequently..so have a watch on that... i kinda used it long long time a go

so if u host a CS server ppl can straight off connect to u @ XXXX0106.dns2go.com 🙂
