PCTV Stereo Mpeg 2 Encoding

I have a PCTV stereo working on XP Sp2.Captures are only in VCD format but I want to capture in the DVD format (720 x 576) resolution & quality.The software asks for a key.Could some one suggest a way out ?

what pgm are u using ?? u can convert ur vcd into a dvd using TMPGe tools. for more info visit forums.afterdawn.com

I guess u probably want dvd quality. Well easiest way would be using Virtual Dub after having the mpeg4 DivX/Xvid CoDecs installed by some codec packs.Shoot VirtualDub, File>Capture Avi , Select Audio and Video Compression with suitable codecs and you are all set to capture all what you want.You can even try Dr. DivX , iuvcr, media portal...
