Type IV Vs Type III

I have recieved the model MT841 it is wireless enabled but i did not get the wireless card with it,i took it to the xchange where that huy said it is a type III modem,which was givn to u bcos Type I is not avlbl,u are entitled for type I only ,i have Home 500 plan,MT 841 is wireless enabled no doubt but they refused to give the card saying we do not giv it with type 3,Can i get teh card from the market if yes then what is it that i am looking 4and is it this way that type III and 4 r the same the diff only being the card.Pls Sugst

The same situation here too. Me too got the MT841 with 4 RJ lan sockets and one usb and a slot for WLAN minus the card. The poeple (linesmen) who came to fit the equipment also said that the diff. in rate of type I and type IV would be billed. but did not give any slot card. I dont thing we can get the WLAN card for this type from market unless these BSNL people dump it backdoor at market to make a fast buck. let us wait and watch.
 
I would suggest the type of WLAN card u have to buy for the type III modem if u attach and send a picture of the slot provided in the modem.Also it is comfortable if u take ur modem to a computer peripheral shop and ask them to give a suitable and working WLAN card for it.You could even test it there in the shop if they would permit.
