I am able to record the video in raw format through wireshark. Follow these steps if you want to experience how iptv work on pc.You will need wireshark and vlc player.

I have WA3002G4 router ...so this is what i did ---:

*Firstly switch on your STB and set on it the channel that you want to view on pc and keep it running through out the process.

* Now reset your router/modem to default settings and reboot.Let the dsl light become stable. Now just don't do any settings in your router just leave it as it is.

*Now open wireshark then click on Interface List under capture. Then click start just beside the name of your netwoek card.

*Now go to statistics and select UDP Multicast streams and note the Dst IP addr and dst port then close that window leaving other things running.

*Open vlc player click on file then on open network stream. Then under protocol select UDP and put Dst IP addr under address and type th Dst port under port. and click ok. and experience the glitchful iptv on pc.

*Inorder to save the file go back to wireshark click on analyze and then select Follow UDP stream then select RAW click save. Then open the saved file with vlc player .

I have uploaded a saved raw file (click it) of channel star plus . Just open it with vlc player.

Now I am waiting for solution how to have smooth video on pc free from glitches . Is it possible ?/

Hi sunshine
i read your post here today after that i registered with this blog.. i am also trying to run IPTV with VLC player i m from chandigarh too. Pl send me the UDP IP address. if you have. thanks in advance. I cannot get it with wireshark. I have DNA-A21-1 Modem.

See, if wireshark is not able to do what i have said in above post that means your router has some different default settings than mine. That means either you had not reset your router or your router has different default settings.
I use this UDP address for testing with my router set to default settings -----:
226.13.2.103 and 6000 as port.I think only the last three digits of address of all channels are different.
Don't skip any step and be sure that same channel must be running on your television/STB.
I mean your set top box must be switched on.

i am trying with your UDP address changed it with last 3 digits for different channels, the channels are missed pixles i had seen imagine profit a little bit. i tired it with TPG List but all in vain. where i read about Mythtv and working on it too. i disable my firewall but it didn't work so good.
