BSNL Broadband: link light yellow colour is blinking always

I have recently taken bsnl broadband, rs.750 per month.for some days I can't be able to connect to the internet as local area connection failed to be connected . In bsnl office , they said about weak signal of ethernet, so I bought D-Link DFE-520TX PCI fast ethernet card,after that the ethernet is OK and Local area connection is connected,but the data signal of my modem is off, in the manual it was written that if DATA(green) is off then the PPP is off. How can I enable my PPP ? I am using Nokia Siemense C2110 modem

Start/network check in each LANproperties.On top of page check whether enabled or not.It appears you have a built in ethernet card .

I have Nokia siemense C2110 modem, whenever I start my PC, after 15 minute the local area connection enables, the pc/usb green light becomes steady,but the link yellow light remains blinking and I can not access internet,whenever I click on the bsnl broadband icon , after sometimes it shows that "error 678 : the remote computer did not respond......". Please help.:huh:

Keep start up programs to the minimum.
Clear all junk files.
Download and run ccleaner from filehippo.com
Run a registry cleaner. etc

I have Nokia siemens C2110 modem, it takes more than 20 minutes for local area conection to be connected,also in device manager-under other device the PCI Modem is in unrecognised mode,in the properties of PCI Modem It shows that the driver is not loaded.In driver details it shows--PCI Moden device instance id "PCI\VEN_1543&DEV_3052&SUBSYS_30001543&REV_04\3&13C0B0C5&0&50"it is not in the cd provided by the bsnl office,so where can I get it ?

do you have internet problems??cause you seem to be getting an ip etc..

your DNS server is 192.168.1.1Change it to OpenDNS : 208.67.222.222 / 208.67.220.220OR set it to obtaain automaticallyThere is step by step tutorial with screenshots in a recent thread regarding how to set DNS settings

Thank you for your kind information , my first problem (PCI Modem) has been solved. But my 2nd problem was that -- it takes about more than 20 minutes (about 22 to 25 ) for the local area connection to be connected . Whenever I switch on my pc and modem , after starting my pc the local area connection takes such time to be connected. What should I do ?
