Dear Members
This is my humble intention of giving a dedicated place to users of HFCL connect Punjab.
Connect offers CDMA, internet dialup/Broadband services to its customers all over punjab. It is having a significant clientele base in Punjab.
Sadly I as a user didn't find a dedicated place for such a large no. of users. :huh: So from now on for any discussion I urge users to refer to this thread. Hope the expertise in this forum will help users of this internet connection.

Let me begin asking some of my queries.:huh:
My problem is that Connect has set very low the speed of downloads through torrents unlike normal downloads.:madness:
Can any expert here help me in getting the maximum speed under torrent as well?
It would be highly appreciated.

sat sri akal,i m so angry :madness: coz of new problem that has started since hfcl has increased speeds..I have 100kbps 444 Plan , but now they increased speed limit to 300kbps.I play counter strike 1.6 online, but i get terrible high pings ( fluctuating ) after 7:00pm..This problem started after hfcl introduced new plans.problem fixes at 11:30pmI called customer care, they said that most of the ppl are online at this timeso it cause network congestionThey didnt register my complaint :frown: & said they cannot register complain on this problem, they can only if net isnt working or speed is low:huh: They suggested me to get 590UL or 666 plan insteadplease reply asap ..
 
Hey Saman thats so sad of you 🙁Mate I am just on my first month with Connect people & I really have no idea of what soever of their past working. I was having BSNL BB for last 2yrs or so.I am on plan 444 with a claiming speed of 100-300kbps. I don't know if it is better than the past but this is really quite amazing at this price. But I wish to know if there is anything that can be done to increase the speed.My speed is normally 10 to 13kbps on firefox downloads. around 5 to 11kbps on Utorrent. They dont offer 300kbps speed all the time
but see this speed


U'll get normal speed (100kbps) at 9:00am to 7:00pm
150kbps = 7:00pm to 10:00pm
200kbps = 10:00pm to 12:00pm
250-300kbps = 12:00pm to 9:00am

TORRENT TRICK

I found a gud trick in torrent ( other ppl already know )
If u download same thing as i am downloading on torrent
we both will get a gud speed ( maybe max our connection support)

does anybody know how to use bsnl wifi modem on Connect. I have been trying for past few days but not able to use the bsnl modem
 

my friend has 444 planhe get 160Kbps speed from 10 am to 8 pm and 300 kbps+ speed from 8 pm to 10 am
 
Hello,I m need of few gamers who play counter strike 1.6 and have Connect Broadband,as u know , ping get high on other servers after 7:00pm, we can practise on my server on which server will be normal around 60 & lessadd me on yahoo :- pr0.h4ck3r@yahoo(dot)com:thumb:
 
download speed of 30 KBps but getting slow speed in utorrent about 2KBps in hfcl connect broadband,plz help
 
dude my friend is getting 8 to 10kbps download speed from 5pm to 11pm15 to 16 kbps download speed from 10am to 5pm30 to 35kbps from 11pm to 10am:thumbsup:
