Yes its faster but Yahoo mail beta is much better in terms of visual appearance and also faster than windows live mail!
 
Ok I got onto live mail ! And bugmenot, Invites to Live mail do exist, i guess u are not aware of it.Anybody who wants to use live mail can PM me and I will tell u how to get onto live mail without invites!
 
Anybody who has Hotmail account can convert taht account to live email account. PM me for details.
 

Live mail does not work with Firefox.



But UI is pretty good. Even better then Gmail, IMO.

where are invites located?
 
It is not a public beta so invites are not available to everyone. It is an invitation only beta where Microsoft sends invites to select beta testers and then these beta testers are given very limited invites (2 or 3) to give it to thier frndz and family!
 
You maybe referring to the link which got leaked on the web!

Its been out since last week of Dec wondering why microsoft has not blocked that link till now...

Edit:

For everybody sending me PM to get onto live mail pl. note that ur account should be an 250MB account otherwise there is no way u can get onto live mail.

RDP to any PC in east coast. Sign up for a new yahoo account, you will see an option for participating in Beta.
