8GB in 1hr @ 256kbps

Yes i too want to know this. Because the service records show the usage done during the period of 2:00am : 8:00am. Also, the service record mention that the statistics given are after excluding night unlimited. but it does not exclude it.i am in first month of my usage and haven't got the bill yet. Can anybody highlight if it is true whether they will exclude the night unlimited and charge the bill??? Thanks for information.
 
ANy update on his situation, vikikivi? What's cooking at BSNL 🙂 ?

Night usage (2am to 8 am) will be excluded in the bill, if you are on plan HOME 500 or above. The site is sh1t. No standards whatsoever.

I am not sure how they charge mixed usage (say 02:10 to 08:15am) but they are able to calculate it. I always connect after 0200 and disconnect before 0800 though.
 
UPDATE : The ambigious entry of 8GB in 1 hr was erased from the service records and now the month's usage shows 3 GB !
 
Sorry abt the continuos post but wanted to bring this post to the attention of everyone.My friend has been charged Rs.12k even when this ambigious entry of 8GB in 1 hr has been removed 3 weeks bck.This makes BSNL more frauder than SIFY or might be more stupid than any1 else. Lets pray to GOD. Save BSNL ! Huh !
 
billing has been up to the mark for me,,[i tink].first month after unltd,,i sheduled lot od full speed ftps on flash get n well it downloaded when i was asleep n disconnected properly,,data1s clok recorded me connectin 5mins b4 each day...aprox 9mb in that 5 min gap ie ~250for that month...that was the only factor wich made my bill rise in excess by 200...well seems like they did a very good JOB,,but just bcos they had no proper usage checkin tool,,i didnt notice it ,,n well it was ~Rs800 fr the first month fr net 🙁
 

Billing has been ok for me too. But yes I remember one nightmare that BSNL gave me almost 2 years ago when I got charged Rs 700 for 3 days. There was an Internet Phone scheme in which I paid 500 per month and could use that line for internet 24*7. I got that line on 28th of some month. And the next bill I got was about 700 bucks for those 3 days. I was at once shocked to see that. Actually they charged me using normal landline pulse charges whereas the plan was a flat plan. One really has to sweat it out to get the bills sorted out. I had to go up and down dozens of times to get my bill brought down to about 50 bucks from 700! Only one who undergoes all that can understand such pain. 🙄
