Every 1st Corner of Any circuit like Fuji Speedway is a bit challenging.. Everyone do such mistakes. Many drivers gone wide at that 1st corner... But Hamilton was given penalty.. why ? after running wide, he was staying at 7th position behind massa thereby he had already lost 6 places... It was all preplanned.. Mclaren were again victimised.. especially Hamilton. poor guy... I feel very sad to him..

as far as Result is Concerned, I was delighted to see Alonso back to winning ways... I am not a big fan of his.. but would like to see him competing with others.

Massa got single point claiming the 8th Position.. he was not penalised for the accident with Bourdais...

steve slater said the same as Massa did several mistakes than Hamilton but in the end who gets penalised...

Sebastien Bourdais drove a great race to take the chequered flag in sixth position, 34 seconds behind race winner Fernando Alonso.

The AFP news agency reported soon after the race however that the French Toro Rosso driver has been handed a 25 second penalty dropping him down to tenth position and out of the points.

Bourdais has been penalised by the race stewards for an incident late in the 67-lap Japanese Grand Prix when he defended his position from Ferrari driver Felipe Massa. Exiting the pits, Bourdais kept to the right hand side of the circuit heading to turn one while Felipe Massa moved to the left to try and pass around the outside.


Massa turned into the corner and contact was inevitable but it is stunning that the stewards have penalised Bourdais (as he was on the inside and defending his position) and not Massa. Bourdais clearly did nothing wrong at all and once again the stewards make a mockery of the sport.😡

Sebastian Vettel is promoted to sixth position ahead of Felipe Massa who picks up an additional point 😡 with Bourdais’ 25 second penalty. Mark Webber is promoted to eighth ahead of Nick Heidfeld and the ever-unfortunate Bourdais.

Ha! I was expecting this from Hamilton's fan!What Hamilton did was not mistake, it was done on purpose. As soon as penalty was shown on screen, even Steve Slator clearly said, "They (McLaren and Hamilton) are going to complain but Stewards are right this time"Many drivers went wide, because first 3 cars (2 McLarens and 1 Ferrari) at corner had completely blocked the road.Hamilton just drives rough without caring about accident (he assumes other guy wud care abt accident which Kimi did). Good driver is one who is rough but safe at extreme.Abt Bourdais incident, I wud say i have just seen it live (i.e seen incident once, didnt get to see any replay) and yes that time I didnt think that it was Bourdais fault, it looked more like racing incident.

Even I expected this reply from You...I ll post the video later.. Look for yourself who did the mistake.. It was just a racing incident.. He is not going to gain had he done it on purpose...It is now very clear that Ferraris are clearly having the F1 Control with them... Again coming back to Bourdais incident, why was he penalised ? It was just a racing incident, I thought ok so both drivers are fighting for positions. Massa was faster on the corner but left no way for Bourdais and he spun.. ok.. but what was the outcome ? Bourdais was penalised.. shocking isnt it...

Hmm, Hamilton incident I have seen it from all angles shown on TV and it was clear that he purposely went past Kimi and breaking late at turn (thats why he himself went off track), left Kimi noway to go and he lost 4-5 places at turn.Hamilton lost places too but if you see replay thats because he was off race track. Try to find video of Coulthard crashing, there u can see hamilton was wide.

😢😢😢😢😢i just woke up. missed yet another race. looks like with two races remaining ferrari still has a chance at the driver's championship. but these are terrible times. if people complained about the ways how michael used to win his championships (team orders!)... they should now have more complaints about the sport 🙂f1 is going down morally. and not everyone likes it. it sucks. totally.

I would say, McLaren and Hamilton both dont have moral values on race. Same stands for Ferrari as a team but atleast Massa and Kimi both are fair at race.

Hamilton took the inside line and braked late so therefore he gone wide.. FIA sucks.. Ferraris have the upper hand in the F1 management.. F1 will not survive if they follow these kinda biased decisions... god save F1...

Max Mosley accused of helping Michael Schumacher win 1994 championship

Max Mosley has been accused of helping Michael Schumacher win the 1994 world championship by advising his Benetton team on how to handle a dispute with the FIA.

Benetton were investigated by the FIA following the fuel rig fire that engulfed Schumacher’s team mate Jos Verstappen’s car in the German Grand Prix.

The FIA accused Benetton of illegally removing a fuel filter from the refuelling rig, but team boss Flavio Briatore insisted the removal of the device had been done with the permission of the FIA. It is now alleged that Mosley told Benetton’s lawyer not to try to pin the blame on the FIA. Benetton instead pleaded guilty and were not given a punishment.

The revelation came in an article in yesterday’s Sunday Express (see below) written by Christian Sylt. According to Sylt the lawyer who handled Benetton’s case, George Carman, claimed Mosley approached him in a bar the day before Benetton’s hearing.

According to Carman Mosley told him: “it was best… not to seek to blame any FIA personnel.”

The potential value of Schumacher to Formula 1 at the time is hard to underestimate. Within a few years the sport had lost several world champions - Alain Prost and Nelson Piquet had retired, Ayrton Senna had died, and Nigel Mansell was still dallying with Indy Cars.

And the financial value of a successful German driver was enormous. As Sylt notes RTL currently pay £95.9m for the rights to air Formula 1. Mercedes had joined F1 in 1993 and at the time were expected to take up an option on Schumacher’s services in the near future. From 1995 to 2006 two Grands Prix per year were held in Germany, and BMW returned to the sport in 2000.

Schumacher had lent his support to Mosley in the wake of the sex scandal the FIA president is embroiled in, saying last month:

I know Max as a professional person and I really rate him very highly. I always thought that I didn’t want people to comment about my private life, so there’s no reason to get into other people’s private life.

Mosley suggested last year that Schumacher would not have been world champion in 1994 had today’s rules been in place. He claimed that Schumacher would have been stripped of his title for the crash with Damon Hill in the final round at Adelaide.

It was another busy race for the race director and stewards this afternoon at Fuji Speedway. "There are too many penalties; too many guilty ones," former race winner and Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger said after Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix.

Not only were championship contenders Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton on the receiving end of the stewards' deliberations, Toro Rosso's Sebastien Bourdais lost his points for colliding with Massa after a pistop.

"What am I supposed to do?" the Frenchman said. "Roll out the red carpet?"

Lewis Hamilton's drive-through penalty for pushing Kimi Raikkonen wide at the first corner surprised his McLaren chiefs.

"We've all seen similar first corner incidents that triggered no such penalty," Ron Dennis noted.


BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld was less convinced, pointing the finger at Hamilton rather than FIA officials. Toyota's Jarno Trulli is apparently also unimpressed, vowing to ask Hamilton at the Shanghai drivers' briefing why he ignored blue flags at Fuji for more than a lap.

Massa, meanwhile, penalised for the incident at turn ten, hit back at intimations that he deliberately punted Hamilton into a spin.

"In my opinion it was a normal running accident," said the Brazilian.

F1 will not survive if they follow these kinda biased decisions

actually FIA needs Ferrari more than Ferrari needs FIA.

Well you cant post video of MS way back in 1994 and try to relate it with today's race. FIA may be partial with Ferrari and everyone knows MS have been unfair many a times as well.

But then rules evolved and are much better and clear in 2008 then in 1994. Drivers must care for safety first thats a prime rule. Hamilton just runs car wildly when he wants to win.

But yes he amazes me many times as well.

As I said earlier, rules evolve. In 1997 that rule was there and MS was also stripped of all points and all MS's records were removed for full 1997.

michael changed his driving style with times. he also managed to change with the changing technologies. few drivers could do it. he won the championships in two different eras. btw. if massa somehow manages to win the drivers title this year. it is i think going to be the first time in several years (or decades) that a single team has two former champions 🙂

[YOUTUBE]IbB1NbZqwn4[/YOUTUBE]i really cannot tell who made the mistake. but since i am a ferrari supporter. i would say hamilton really is messing things up. he has a decent lead. he just has to make sure to complete the races ahead of massa and he WOULD win the championship...the last two races now becomes very crucial. massa has to cover up 5 points. even if he wins the next two races, hamilton could still win by coming second in both. hamilton could freeze the win if massa does not finish the next race. good chance for lewis. he just has to make sure that he completes the next two races in points and preferably ahead of massa. he would be insae to mess it up this time around. he made a mess of his season last year. and he would be foolish to do it again. unless of course FIA has plans with Ferrari to make sure that Massa wins the drivers championship this year :dance:

Hamilton-Massa, to me it looked Massa's fault as he overran on the curve before and Hamilton went ahead. But he didnt do it on purpose, he went on bumpy grass which pushed him bit more on to McLaren.Hamilton-Kimi, I wud say it was deliberate by Hamilton. Kimi got his place at start which he cudnt digest and tried to take place back by pushing him wide.Massa-Bourdais, I saw replay again, and I didnt find it to be Bourdais mistake.
