New Hutch Logo, and change from orange to hutch...

Well about charges they are same for all the 3 operators: Hutch/Bpl/Airtel. So how would airtel be more preferable when all 3 hv exact same charges?Maybe Hutch connection would be weak in ur area, check out Airtel strength in ur area before switching to airtel bec the customer service of Airtel is seriously pathetic.Yes INA Max touch is shown in some phones, its most probably ur phone or maybe also the old sim card.
 
People who want to change to Hutch Logo immediately can send an sms: "hutchlogo" (without the quotes) to 6565 free of cost and get the new Hutch Logo.I downloaded it but didnt save it bec I would like to see Orange on my phone as long as possible.
 
looks ok. A bit too small. BTW did you know that if you used a prepaid voucher for Orange (hutch) the costs involved would be significantly higher?For a 3300 recharge. Orange charges Rs.1.99 per min to ANY phone until you activate their talk @ 99 scheme which costs 25 bucks per month btw. And SMS costs Rs.1.5 while with Airtel, it only costs Rs.1!So basically, with Orange's 3300 recharge you get 2995 - 300 = 2695 bucks to use! While the call rates equilize, you still are charged a BOMB for SMSes!With Airtel, you get 3000 bucks to use from their 3300 voucher. Thats 305 bucks MORE than Orange AND you get to send SMS at only Rs.1! MTNL is cheaper but we are talking about Airtel and Orange here.Edit: downloaded the Hutch logo. Looks OK. But it sucks on my screen. AND IT IS NOT TOLL FREE. The SMS costed by Rs.2!! 😕
 
Check it again dude, the sms is Toll Free, I am damn sure about it, I downloaded it 5 times after reading ur message...Edit:Checked the airtel website, u get 3000Rs. talktime on 3306 recharge voucher but sms still costs Rs.1.50 and call rates are similar to Orange.Also if u know all new Orange customers get full talktime (i.e if u refill for 400 u get TT of Rs.400 etc) for first 6 recharges of 330 and above.
 
moving away from the topic a bit...i had airtel for a couple of months and after that i am using mtnl prepaid for the past 2 yrs.Though airtel has an edge in network coverage, my take is that whay should i pay for good coverage in say churchgate when i got there once in 3 months!!So i found that mtnl gave good coverage in all the areas i go daily hence stuck to it.Initially the coverage sucked in all areas but since the past 1 year its good almost everywhere except the eastern susburbs of mulund-bhandup area.Costwise mtnl is best coz they have no fancy schemes at 25rs etc, but simply they give sms at 50p!!So when you wanna switch providers just check mtnl coverage in your areas of interest and go for it..super savings.
 

I totally agree with u Aniket if someone wishes to switch operators specially for cost factor or otherwise should consider Trump/Dolphin. Their coverage is good and prices quite low compared to other operators.I have my Orange no. for last 4 years, since I do not wish to lose my number I dont change operators otherwise I would have surely switched to MTNL.
 
imranais, lost two more rupees! And Airtel website sucks. It is NEVER updated. Don't take the website for granted. I confirmed my figures from Airtel gallery... My friend is using Airtel and he too confirmed it.
 
I dont believe it Max u are charged for hutchlogo sms sent to 6565. U can call the customer care for that.I have checked it 5 times already on my phone and also my friends have downloaded it on their phone without getting charged. I would suggest u to call cust care 22222 for this bec its surely free download bec sometimes when u make a call a sexy voice says "Orange is now Hutch in Mumbai, to download the hutch logo on ur handset type hutchlogo as an sms and send it to toll free number 6565".So its not possible that u are being charged...!
 
imran, i called up the cc. They had no idea whatsoever about what I was speaking! 😕 According to them I shouldn't have been charged. And no, I didn't ever get such a message about downloading the hutch logo toll free. All I used to get was a message regarding Chota Recharge...
 
Max I think u are victim of some technical glitch of Orange. Bec as of now more and more friends of mine have downloaded the logo from 6565 and no one has been charged even a penny for that free logo.Consider urself unlucky Max!
 
is that logo a logo or an operator logo?bcz in my t610 i can only make it as wallpaper or screensaver. that INA Orange still comes...any way to make that INA Orange to That operator logo?
 
in Sony erric t610 how do I make it operator logo. that INA Orange is still coming 🙁
