Aadhaar (UIDAI) News & Updates

I haven't read about it, but a similar thing happened to a lady who was able to switch back to w/o on the subsequent update. No question asked. Just wasted Rs.50 and half a day.

What was exactly the problem if you are aware?

During an address update, the w/o XX was changed to c/o XX. I don't think it was a human error as we know the person / people who processed it. When checking in digilocker, the discrepancy was found and fixed with another update. Are you talking about something else?

Yes they are changing it to c/o now by default.

I meant what issues it can create? As c/o is the new format by aadhar so it should be okay.

Never heard of any issues, yet. Probably, another standard is being forced to make things more complex and confusing. Will let you/everyone know if I heard any issues due to this new standard.
