From customercare asking if they wanted to use Sify's apparently new Antivirus? Heh I just got one. No one is going to make me uninstall my Norton Antivirus 2004

NAV is a weak oneA friend is programmer, codes trojans and stuff,makes virusses and Norton takes ages to detect these filesKaspersky is really fast,.. imo one of the best AV scanners there is

New AV? Dunno ... lemme check ...BTW yes Anand let go of norton and go for AVG or Kaspersky

I got that call long back. The guy was very persuasive but I was firm. I'm still using my free avg.

He was presuasive? Mine hung up on me after he realized I wasn't some 50 year old 'uncle'. Where can I download the free AVG? Are there any limitations on the free one?

Okie dokie here is how u remove that stupid anti-virus and install urs. Do the following

uninstall ur mcafee. then reboot. and b4 startin hte client remove all the entries frm startup which remotely has anything to do with mycio. then reboot again and install the AV of ur choice

no calls for me either. except for the sify senior customer care dood who called me to pacify after i sent him an angry mail yelling for forcing me to remove the antivirus i was using. he told me that i can call the customer care and get the condition removed.i have heard that every guy worth his name in the chandigarh office know me by my first name. 😛though not so much luck with the night shift guys in the server rooms. who speaks punjabi which I have no clue about. 🙁

I donno, may be they'v already read my mail wich i sent them askin if their client is trojan or wat.All they came up with , is , its ISO so n so certified, n i firedb ack another mail sayin ISO certification doesn say its trojan free....ever since then i dint get ne mail. 🙁 let alone call 😛
