Why do you want a lower refresh rate?

i want a lower refresh rate cuz my monitor doesnt support higher ones... it flickers. 😉so pls help me

uthfull, i am not a SuSE user so I don't know how to do it "graphically". But normally, you will have to edit Xorg or XFree86's configuration files. You may need to add a "mode line". For example, my modeline is:Modeline "1024x768@68" 75.44 1024 1056 1336 1368 768 783 792 807Don't try it on your machine because it might bork up your monitor.... Try a utility "xvidtune". Might work for you. But you need to run it as root.
