i use the following browsers in which i am logged in from various profiles:firefox 1.0 moox edition (admin)maxthon (test)opera 7.6p3 (sushubh)internet explorer 6sp1 (serioussam)never had any problems related to getting logged out... maybe you need to keep the option to keep logged in... or ur security settings are too strict. my settings are default...someone else earlier complained abt problems with Internet Explorer. But the forum works fine from my side on all the browsers I have used it in. Lynx i am not quiet sure. 🙂

Hi hpgupta,

I was able to connect to  foreign game servers of the BZFlag machine and play normally. Maybe other members of this forum who have multiplayer games like CS, Quake III etc could try connecting to fragshack and kawabonka. I do have Quake III Arena demo but they want the cpma mod on kawabonka. Maybe I can try connecting to your server with my Q3A  😉

hmm i tried BZflag and it is working fine here too. was connecting to the default server. horrible ping but i managed to get in.

Sushubh, yes, I do remember disabling cookies for all sites on firefox hehe. That could be the problem. I will enable cookies for this forum 😉 hpgupta, yup BZFlag has around 500 ms pings coz the servers are all in Europe/US. But I can play short bouts of games before getting kicked out and playing anothet short bout lol. So anyway those game servers work for you too. I was wondering whether UDP packets which are the protocol for most online multiplayer games were getting excessively lost on Sify and that's why you were having issues. But BZFlag also uses UDP and it works fine. guru, you're welcome, am always looking forward to share and gain knowledge on this forum 😉

🙁 if u are unlogged u get a very distinct pink colored bar at the top...

Yes I know that 😛 . What happens with Firefox when the cookies are disabled is that if I log-in on the main forum page I need to re-log in manually when I want to post which I often forget. I ought to either remember doing that or enable cookies for this site 😉
