good thing? I have yet to see a sarkari example of a good thing in ANY walk of life - be it the internet or be it the civic infrastructure services or be it the social services. Its true, indian life is a bitch 😉

what about the govt aided polio eradication drive 😛

or better still what about controlling the population which is the root cause of all things? 😉

oh for all that crap about MTNL halving its rates coz BSNL's lowerMTNL Screws u again !!!For the 590 guyz, what is the added value ? 500 MB morebig deal I download at night anyway lest I get caught in MTNL's billing webnothing's gonna change and no customer matters...

The Mumbai mtnl site is updated.#adwait1 GB 512 plan is no good. DSL NU is the best option coz with that the min data d/l we can have is 3GB(based on calculations) and thats far better than 1 GB limit. We must welcome these great Diwali offers! Kudos mtnl!

i think they could have had an offer like say unlimited 256 kbps.. and registrations only valid till 1st of next month 😀.. . i guess that way they could have gauged the amount of bandwidth that they could give out to the subscribiers.,.or do we have to bribe them to give unlimited plans? ?? 😛

What I was looking for is HOURS :UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS: UNLIMTED PRICE >1500 SPEED 256. No such thing so it has disppointed me, plans are good or not depends on ones usuage, if someone only uses 1 gb in a month plans are good for him, But for us internet addict guys it just sucks.Mtnl can surely double the customers by adding an unlimted plan. oh well....

sushubh, please dont ban Yogi. I know he was out of line but it happens....Guys, I expected better from MTNL too. But they are crazy. I think Airtel is the best choice right now even for Mumbai (where ever its available). I will be mostly shifting to Airtel once it is available in my building. It is only then MTNL will act. Until then let us all wait and watch. BTW Why isn't MTNL Delhi launching unlimited offers? I mean dont they feel the heat of Airtel plans? Why do people still subscribe to MTNL when they can use Airtel? Is it due to the availability problem??
