@/members/harirevathy/Welcome to broadbandforum.co.The idea is, whether changing airtel DNS can improve ping times.( usualy we try Open DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222)May or may not work.If you have a diiferent Airtel DNS please post it here.( your location also can be given. )
 
Changing the DNS can help improve the time it takes to resolve the IP or name, hence, improving the browsing time. Ping doesn't do either, so it doesn't need DNS unless of course if you enter a name, then it does resolve it to its IP. Apart from that it just pings the IP without any DNS server involvement.

/members/indian1947/ What is the speed for your Airtel connection ? What was the speed for MTNL connection ? Which modem you use ? Do you use a wifi router ?Are you using the USB port or LAN port ?Rebooting the computer . Did you format the Hard drive ?> Run this program Advanced Windows Care personal from www. iobit. comUncheck unneeded programs from start up menu when you go for Battle in Europe !
