Idea Cellular has announced the launch of missed call alerts facility for its subscribers. This new feature sends both the pre-paid as well as the post-paid customers an SMS alert on the number of missed calls with the subscriber having the choice of seeking details of the call or just ignoring the alert. The Chief Executive Officer of Idea Cellular, Mr Vikram Mehmi, in a statement said: "This feature is in keeping with the aim of helping the subscriber to stay connected sans the worry of having missed an important call when his mobile is not within range or is switched off."
what the hell is this??? nothing is happening.. i get no alerts when i switched off my mobile.. crap service😢
